INTRODUCTION (From the LSCM Website)Hong Kong R&D Centre for Logistics and Supply Chain Management Enabling Technologies is established with funding support from the Innovation and Technology Commission of the Hong Kong SAR Government and is commissioned to provide a one-stop shop for technology transfer and commercialisation through the following roles: Conduct industry-oriented research.
The Centre is set up by three leading universities in Hong Kong:

This meeting is for the LSCM CEO to answer more detailed questions and hear suggestions for collaboration from colleagues. If you are interested in the call for proposal for Hong Kong R&D Centre for Logistics and Supply Chain Management Enabling Technologies (Call for Proposal and Briefing) Under the R&D Centre funding scheme of Innovation and Technology Fund, the Innovation and Technology Commission of the Government of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region has set up the Hong Kong R&D Centre for Logistics and Supply Chain Management Enabling Technologies (LSCM R&D Centre) in 2006. The LSCM R&D Centre is targeted to foster the development of core competencies in applied R&D in logistics and supply chain related technologies and to facilitate the adoption of these technologies by industries in Hong Kong and Mainland China to enhance their competitiveness. The LSCM R&D Center is now inviting applications for research and development projects. For your information, a briefing session will be held on 5 October 2006. (posted on Sept 22, 2006) The first meeting minutes. I did not attend the meeting. The document was passed to me during my meeting with the Center CEO Prof CJ Tan on Sept 5, 2006. It provides some useful pointers (posted on Sept 20, 2006). Request for Information The Center will be preparing for the call for proposal soon. As such, it will be a good idea to provide your input so that representatives from UST can make sure that your ideas are heard. I will be meeting with the CEO to get the format on Sept 21, 2006.
